About Grimstad Klepp

Research professor Ingun Grimstad Klepp works at Consumption Research Norway (SIFO), Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HIOA). She works with research on sustainable textile, clothing, laundry and leisure consumption.

Professor Grimstad Klepp’s is the leader of Deadly Dreams’ subproject Deadly dreams in consumer goods, textiles and cosmetics, 950-2016

Professor Grimstad Klepp has written numerous articles and books of these themes and loves popular dissemination.The relationship between textiles, social and physical characteristics and how these are woven together is at the core of her interest. Most relevant for “Deadly Dreams” are publications about housework and cleanliness (for example Skittentøyets kulturhistorie, Novus 2006) sustainability in textile consumption (Responsibility without means Consumer behavior and sustainability of textiles and clothing2014) and analyses of textbooks and consumer education (Avlæring av ansvar normer og kunnskap om klær i skikk og bruk-bøker 2009).
